Another vector wallpaper! Lately I've been making only vector ones, although I
am a fan of textures too 
Maybe I
like vector walls more because they take me a lot of patience to do. Self
torture is such a good technique to get things done faster >.>
Anyway, I was working on a Sailor Mercury wallpaper when I had the idea for this
wallpaper (the SM one was a vector wall too). I was too lazy to continue the
Sailor Mercury vector, so I put it aside and started creating a background. It
was originally a Carnelian wallpaper, but I thought Sora looked better here 
Plus I
had the opportunity to vector the scan!
Made it widescreen because it looks better (more space)
The background is made from default Photoshop brushes, modified a bit with the almighty Pen Tool. Of course, I used it to make the clouds, too. The butterfly is a brush, and I was in no mood to vector that too.

Layers: 12! I vectored Sora separately.
Butterfly brush: Crystal Kiss
Scan: here I adore it!
Timeline: 2 days, not as much as other wallpapers! *cheers for self-set
record*

great vector! the scan, bg and colors are beautiful!
lets see...from the thumbnail you could say that it's a very bright, happy wallpaper, but my first impression in full view is different, I like the vector and I think you can improve it, I dont know if it is because I'm such a stroke/outline slave but I do think that here they would have looked good, at least to make emphasis in some spots, like in her hands for example.
and just one thing....that butterfly just ruined everything else, you can combine vector and non vector stuff while they make a certain balance, however if you make an entire vector wall and you paste a butterfly on it and it looks that blurry then it is a disaster.
I like however the overall, or what you were trying.
i like vectors without outlines. so sad ther are not so popular among the most of us

Good job with the floating things, they bring happiness to the wall~ (even if the theme of praying was supposed to be serious, a bit of funkiness doesn't hurt~
I just think that there's something wrong with her eyebrows... her whole expression is serene, but the eyebrows are curved like she's worried or in pain...
Maybe it was like that in the scan... but a little curving and it'll be perfect.
