This is (obviously) my submission for the vector-wallers contest... The theme was joy&happiness...

F.A.Q.

1. Why Kanbara
Well, at first I wanted to wall something summery, but decided that would be cliche... I started thinking about the kanbara vector I made for Vectory... The girl is obviously enjoying herself so I thought it'd be a great match!

2. What's with the background?
Recently my sister went to some friend of hers for a week and came back with a love for an artist... She immediately downloaded his album and made me listen... I heard the artist before and claimed I didn't like him, 'cause his music is obnoxious. My sister didn't care so I listened to the album and I must admit I was totally wrong... The music is addictive, light, nice and energizing... Who am I talking about? Mika and his album Life in Cartoon Motion. I have no idea why I like this album but I just do...
And the background is influenced by the aesthetics of the tunes and the cover.

3. One more question: what does 'ciesz sie zyciem' mean?
D'uh! It's Polish for 'enjoy life'

    it's certainly vivid and it gives a very strong happy feeling due the colors I supposed, however I dont like the combinations, the black and white of her combined with the other colors are not making a good contrast, maybe with a different color of outline using the same red, pink or green, could make it better, but that's just a minor thing that may be bothering only me, so anyway, it's always nice to see happiness around.

    Hello kashi,

    I agree with alterlier... your wallpaper expresses the intended message really well. I only wish you would have chosen a different color for the outline of the character and no white either.... that is what Alterlier said. The composition is really good... lines reaching from the left to the upper left. Maybe the character could have been moved slightly to the right too. But apart from that I really like it! Will there be coming more wallies like this from you? XD

    PS: Sorry I am a little late but I had problems with internet and I always had to go to university to get online so I didn't do much more than check my emails. :) Luckily now I am back online... at home... yeah! :D I hope all is going well for you and: "ciesz sie zyciem"! :)
