Because I had time I ended up doing another scratchboard, this time I did Karyu from D'espairs Ray.
This one and the one of Kyo were the first times I had ever used a scratchboard which suprised my professor since I seemed so natural at it.

This is absolutely haunting. Such a perfectly captured moment of thought and that look that stares right through the viewer. An interesting technique of using scratches in pure black & white. So visually striking, beautiful & unsettling at the same time.
I have to agree with saikusa, it really is a breath-taking piece of art. Great skill displayed as well, so thumbs up and fav :D
