it looks pretty good. the colors and lines are smooth and nice. the redrawing of her hair looks pretty good too.

It took me a bit but I finally finish coloring in this new vector featuring Arcueid staring down on Shiki as he is sleeping in his room. I used a scan from chapter 37, page 23.
The two hardest parts for me in this vector were the color in of the characters since this was originally only a black and white scan and redoing parts of Arcueid's hair since it was crop off in the original copy.
For the colors, I tried using various sources for the base colors for Arc and Shiki but none would come out right since I was looking for dark skin tones since the character were in a dark room with the moonlight providing the lighting. I finally settled on to using the colors I could eyedrop from a color page in the prologue chapter and using various blending masks I got the colors I wanted though at a lighter level.
For Arc's hair, I search all the chapters that I had, 1 - 42 :) , comparing the angles that fit this one since from all the pictures that I've seen of Arc the back of her hair has always been a bit pointy. After that I just guess on the shadings and the separating of the hair so I hope you like that part ^_^' .
After finishing all this in Illustrator, I transfer the file over to Photoshop to do a bit of maintenance on Arc's eye using a gradient mask to fill in her pupil. I also added a gradient mask over the entire image with some blending to darken parts of the image to match the background. I also flatten the layers into one to add a outer glow to match the manga scan.

Really nice for a start, but I think the outlines are quite jaggy and the ear part for the guy is quite edgy. :3
