Vector art is always popular for its postmodern feel and clean lines. But would you believe it if I said this particular piece reminded me of a 1970s newspaper fashion ad? In the 70s colour printing for newspapers and comic books most certainly didn't hit the same millions of colours that we have today. They were limited to maybe 50 colours, if that! These simple, clean cut lines and dots give he primary art in its shade of marine blue a French feel against its white backdrop. Very nice! Its unique in its own standing! ^__^

I'm amazed at the difference between the scan & the wall! Lovely vectoring, lovely clean work & use of complimentary colours. It's a shame that some of the outlines are lost in those disgonal stripes of her top though. Otherwise, I absolutely love this!

  12. yui20 Jul 08, 2007

It's kinda weird, I cant download the wallpaper and full view, sorry -.-" *Cant even get in Minitokyo in the morning* :|

your wallie style is one of my fav <3

  19. Sakura-Dust Jul 10, 2007

You just gotta love the simplicity! I adore original & simple wallpapers, and yours fits my 'worshiping' list perfectly. I don't think you know, but 'a wolf in sheep's clothing' is also a verse from Eminem - No Apologies, it's a great, but sad song! Anyway, a superb wallie, I'll fav it for sure!

  20. aplastictree Jul 11, 2007

YOU! I FINALLY TRACK DOWN ANOTHER GONZO WALL AND YOU DARE BLAME YOURSELF FOR THE LOSS?! If anything, it was my wall, what with its boring colors and so forth 8d But anyways. Moving that aside.

Pam, I <3 your style and this is more of your style which, using the transitive property of equality, means I <3s this :3

...yeah. Long time no type %D
