This wallpaper is for the Arina Tanemura wallpaper contest! ^_^
Well... Finally done I guess. I've stressed a little with this one, cause I had a tight time limit. I should've finished it yesterday, but I didn't manage, so I got it done today xD Basically that was cause my boyfriend came yesterday, and we're leaving for Turkey on Wednesday! I'm sooooo looking forward to it! But anyway, I got it done at least ^_^

I started with messing with some ideas, and then the extracting. It's so hard to
extract Arina's walls!

I guess I managed somewhat xD
After extracting I decided to change the colour on her dress and coat. I guess
it looked a little to 'drawn', if you know what I mean? xD So I made the dress
light pink, in a sort of pastel colour, and her coat darker pink. Then I painted
the necklace darker, almost reddish. I played a little with the light and
shadows. I blurred the edges a little to blend her in with the rest of it, and
blurred her hair, since that's about the only part of her that I didn't recolour
or smudge. ^_^ I added light to her wings, to make them look more 'heavenly', or
'fairy like' ^^.
Other than that I just tried to get her skin to look smoother.
Almost the entire wall is made of pictures from my back yard ^_^ The flowers are
really beautiful, and if I ever add them to DA I'll post the links here. ^^ It
took quite a long time to extract them as well, but I guess I managed quite
well. At least I hope so ^_^
I mixed some new colours into them and tried to make them glow, so that her hand
would look like it was 'lit' by them. ^_^
I added the small sparkles and stuff to give it the 'magic touch', then I made
the swirly things with different round brushes with different opacity levels and
colour.
The background is a photo of grass, from my back yard. ^^ I added a filter and
some other things, placed some new colour over it to make it a little blue
(basically to give it sort of a 'morning' feeling) 
Hehe... Anything else I need to say? Guess not... I decided not to have the
title in the picture, it took away a lot of the attention. 
I'd LOVE to get comments on this! ^_^
God, I've really talked a lot now, haven't I? O_o I'll shut up xD

I like the way you remodel the picture of the grass you took from your backyard. It fits in softly into the entire composition.The laughing fairy sure brings out the art piece's theme and the extraction is alright if not, good on your part.
