well phew this thing is done, i felt bad for shunning omni/devil/party van out while whoring out on my vectory project (which i havn't finished yet) that i decided to take a breather and make something fun in an abstract way. So i present to you my version of the omni+carbon collab (<-----insert AIDS here)
well explaining this wall, you guys saw 2 of my vectors but not the other ones. these things were cooking on my hard drive for about 2 months, and nearly destroyed my laptop since the files were SO HUEG! yes HUEG. so yea this whole thing took about 2 full days to do plus some hours for final touches. it has around 100 or so layers for the BG and the vectors have over 800. you can't see the grayserg since i had to scale it down, but it's there. scans were taken from here. everything you see in the wall is 100% vectored meaning NO BRUSHES! while maintaining our 'circles' theme. the only brush i used was for the stamp behind devil's sig. overall i think we achieved something here, maybe some epic win (in before fail)

the wall is based on the gorillaz - demon days cover art but my music inspiration was a mix of arctic monkey's and some scarface "push it to the limit"
anyways i'm uploading the dual screen version cuz this place allows it and it just looks soooooo schmexy! so yea omni's version is coming soon. but i'm spent. additional versions below.

I love the sense of symmetry and all those beautiful textures used in such a creative way! And I can see the likeness for the Gorillz... although I'm not sure about Ichigo with a fag hanging out of his mouth, hes too clean cut for that ;)

oi... very nice composition indeed. colors... well actually the symmetry is bothersome. i would like this piece better if there was only one side. draw a line straight down through ichigo's face. that is where the cutoff should have been. and as is the vector is too detailed for the rest of the forms you chose to use. especially when looking at it closer. the colors are too bright... there is a decent contrast happening here. but you could plug anything in place of the characters and you would get the same feel. they are not tied to the piece. but then again... the brightness of the colors on the characters does keep the piece from being too dull and stuck on itself. flatter, maybe more experimental color layout on the characters would have worked better. and one character. or at least... not an entire view of all the charaters. ichigo's head could be going of the page. this is a nice piece. just not something that deserves absolute acclaim. good work. though.

Crap! I definately just loved this! The background all abstract and the scribbles gives decorations. :o
This is definately lovely and the vector of them was raelly something original. Adding details to the hair by using layers mixing together with soft light was a brilliant idea. You got my fave! ;)

I like the peice, but I don't know if the Bleach characters were a great fit. I don't think the hats or the cigarette really suit. Only Orihime really seems to belong in here. Maybe if it was done with the Beck characters or some other anime set in current times. Other than the characters I do like the layers and textures you used for the rest of it.
