i love this manga (not the anime please you... and the film even less) it's...
just awsome... and i really like this scene where Hachi furiously erases a
"Die Nana", replaces it by a "Love Nana" and serenily
continues her walk... she's accomplished her good dead 
so i
scanned the page and vectored and walled it 
at first i wanted something really plain but..... i got a liiiiiittle carried away with the textures
though i actually like it this way even though it may seem a
little too much.... but i like how the colours come out
hope you like it!

I don't think this is too much, actually, I like it like this. The wallie looks really nice especially Hachi looks great^^

The outer glow doesn't really seem needed, and the outlines on the wall make it stick out rather than blend in. Overall I think you did a good job, though.
for me is nice, but i was waiting for something made with your latest scans..

I haven't gotten that far in the manga yet (cause I'm reading it through ShoujoBeat) but I really love this vector/wall ^_^The overall texture looks fabulous, and I kinda like the glow around Hachi myself. It adds a bit of a funky flare to the wall.
the outlines are kind of too strong but it makes contrast with the strong textures so in some way it looks good and, I like.

I agree with brom on the glow... perhaps if you had faded it a bit more it could have worked better. But I really like the wall overall. It was nice when Hachi got all upset about it!
