    That's because Lances aren't used so frequently in mythology, and if they were they'd be overshadowed by swrods. Here are things that might support my statement. Other than the Longinus Spear(The one that was used to stab Jesus Christ), have you heard of anything else? Also, you might have heard about Excalibur, Caliburn, and Clarent(All three of which are King Arthur's Swords), but what of Rhongomiant? That was King Arthur's Lance, but there aren't that many people who know of it. Even the Pelias Spear, the weapon of the great Achilles, isn't known so well. I'm a mythology freak. :P

    Anyway, I've heard of Gae Bolg(or Gae Bulg in the stories), but I've never come across Gae Buidhe before in all my years of reading mythology.

    Btw, thanks for the image of Diarmuid Ua Duibhne. I was looking for this kind of stuff as I was starting to think of ways on how to draw Robin of Locksley as a Servant.
