I've been feeling kinda emo. The result = emo wall.
I started this vector of Subaru a while back because I was in a fan-girl mood then, and Subaru was one of my first manga loves. Yeah geeky I know. It always surprises me that for one of Clamp's most popular characters (I think, right? I pretty much only kept up with X because I lurved Subaru to death) there really aren't many walls of him out there. My original idea for this wall was completely different - emoness took over when I finished this today. Luckily, it more or less fits Subaru's character... -_-;;
Subaru vectored from this scan; branches from here; Japan (inverse) from this scan; swirls appropriated from an image out of Graceful Lament Gallery's Beautiful Decay artbook. Textures from DA! and deviantART.

love the design but perhaps the layout would be better served at 1600x1200 resolution. just a tad too much negative space on the wide-screen version.

I really, really like this- I have such an affinity for the color red, it's strange- but I love how organic the red appears in this. Beautiful work; I'm totally making this my new desktop. ;)
