I finished to read Chobits a while ago. Still wondrering about the ending I started to vector Chii. I actually had no
idea of what kind of wallpaper I should made. I just vectored Chii because it was fun. Then I was done.
I left the vector for a while and thought how the wall should be.
Then I saw Rent with my friends, and got some inspiration. [Have you seen when they were dancing tango in the beginning?
-I loved that place!] I developed some brain-activity and decided to put Chii in a church, or should I say cathedral.
Because Chii was vectored I decided to make the whole wall vectored. But then I stopped vector the cathedral/church
rather quickly. *geeez... it was too hard* :x
I quitted the idea with a cathedral/church and continued to think.
The days become sunnier and warmer. The days in school became lesser and lesser and the breaking-up day came. And I came
up with an idea!
I decided to make a summerwall. And I finished it the day after the breaking-up day. ~
The wallpaper is vectored, first I vectored Chii from this scan at Aethereality.net. The BG represent Chii's own
weekend cottage and summerland, therefore the title 'Chii's Sanctuary'. I searched on Google for a frog-image and
fish-image. Thanks to Tama-Neko at DA (and AP) for the
lovely texture.
As you probably read, this wall took me a while to make. So I hope you like it X-P

I think u thought up a nice concept. summer and warmth r concepts that r quite difficult to potray,but u did very well, in my opinion . textures r nice, but u may need to work a lil harder on the perspective. but nice vector wallpaper anyways~

The colours are so beautiful. You simply get the summer mood and the background is looking great.

This is probably the best Chobits wall I've ever seen! Great job :D The vectoring looks great. I really like the choice of colours, and the texture just adds to the greatness. Hah. I said greatness x) Ahem, anyways. Keep it up! +fave

Just beautiful! The textures gives a feeling into it so it wouldn't have felt plain.
Just love the ideas on how you made the trees. So creative and just a simple repeat of dots did the trick. :D
Really nice and the vector is beautiful. The concept is great and I can't see how it's something not worth full viewing.
You've impressed me with such a simple background.
I think the only problem is that there should be a shadow casting under Chii on the swings.
