Artist Comment
really enjoyed this piece. I finished the initial sketch December 5 and outlined it in Math class, followed by coloring, and finally a Photoshop touch up. And, wow, it represents something. This angel represents humanity and how we get tangled in sin and it hurts us. (You can see the blood on her wings and arm) She trapped in red ribbons. I absolutely had the best time doing this. ^^

Do you honestly want to know? ~_~ It's kinda embarassing what little time I spend of my art...anyway, the skecth and outlining took about 40 minutes to an hour, the coloring, about 30 minutes with Prismacolor markers, and PS stuff took about twenty minutes. So, about two hours. >>

This is a pretty great piece, both the art and the photoshop modifications; though, I'd like to see what the original was like too. I'm not too enthusiastic about or in agreement with the theological ideas of human "sin", but I fully and vehemently agree with the fact that humans do terrible things in the world.
I like the fact that there was some concious thought and meaning behind this.

The concept drives the piece, certainly. Just looking at it, I didn't really "get" it, but after reading the description, the little bulb went on. Made it much more meaningful.
I like this. I have to agree with one other person...I think her face could use a bit more emotion, but otherwise, very very good.
