Hi Yi-Yuan, :) I thought the very same thing when i first saw it. reminds me of an modern frankenstein theme. It would be very cool if it was Ryuk though i wonder what Rem would look like?

that is exactly ryuk from deathnote said the editors but obata sensei thought that it should look like monsters so he changed the good looking ryuk into somewhat visual kei monster type creature
