Mermaids is the entry for Freedom contest ^^
The moment I saw the scan, I love it and decided to vector it for the contest but oh my never thought will be this hard. First I did an outlining and I dont really have a problem with it, and second start to color it, thats the problem for me. For hairs and skin its ok but the mermaid's tails are so hard. I need to trace the color and the pattern for the tails and start coloring it.

Whoa! This is just beautiful! I mean look at all those details. I can't believe you wree very quick with finishing it.
Mainly what grabs my attention is the colours. They're so vivid. Outlines are perfect! (O_O)
Textures were just good! Doesn't feel to hard or too light. Last is adding the sparkles on the pot was nice. :)
This will definately win hands down. :D

I think this should be in the wallpaper category, shouldn't it?
Anyway, nice vectoring(as usual). "Okay" use of texture, though I don't think it fit the style. (or maybe it's just me). Clean CG shading. But I think the red tone on the left side of the wall is quite over-saturated, and too vibrant to be a desktop-friendly-type wall.

OMG, rubenz, this is so pretty! Your vectors are always wonderful, but there is just something about the mermaids that makes them seem otherworldly. Flawless as usual!

Amazing job.
But I thought stuff like this was against the rules? Sure there's nothing dirty about it, but it seems a while ago they were cracking down on wallpaper like this. Something about kids coming through the website and complaints.
