From the artbook, "RESET" by Kunie Kanbara.

There was a beautiful book on the shelf of Kinokuniya and I walked past it every time. It was a real mystery to me: what was inside, that is. The price tag said the words "best seller" on it.

Finally I have this artbook now- I got it from my friend for my birthday which is in a few days' time :)

It was a really beautiful surprise to me: if you look at the details, you will realise how lovely the technique is: coloured pencil, scanned in, and then using a computer all the block colours and outlines are blocked in. All gradients are done with soft pencil. The composition of each page and the sequence of images were also very special.

So because of the special composition, I have left some empty space (not all) so you know where the empty space is located: you can then crank up a blank canvas in portrait and see what it looks like for yourself :)

It's really hard to choose from this artbook what to submit to Minitokyo. There are a lot of "repeated" images in the sense that they have a few differences and such. I guess I'll slowly submit what I feel people would enjoy :D

a beautiful artpiece. the design elements remind me of Oghushi's art and this piece.

Goregous piece, as usual. I love the movement in this, evident even with its degree of abstraction. Thank you again ^_^.

This, apart from the cover, has got to be my favourite piece out of the ones you have submitted. The fresh, summer feeling I get looking at this art is unbeatable...
