For an extremely long time, I've had the pleasure of viewing Bakashinigami's admired work entitled Peace/Chaos within my favourites gallery. This is one work, that even throughout my two years of absence, has really stayed within my mind as a well-loved favourite. It wasn't until roughly two months ago when I came upon this famous Nana illustration at Aethereality Gallery that Baka's past work with the scan glittered into my mind and thus refreshed my passionate affair with the Peace/Chaos work. Heavily inspired, I decided to take on that scan and design a version that reflected my inspirations from Baka's work, yet gave it a 180 degree spin a-la UV. In other words, TrueXS is my reply (or tribute; if you will) to Baka's Peace/Chaos.
We understand the following points:
That this is a work of an acquired taste. And -
That this piece does contain minor imperfections in colourization.
But those technicalities have nothing to do with the point of this work. In fact, the point of this work - is
spontaneously prolonged inspiration. That the ideas addressed within this piece are, clear lines, colour contrast and
definition. The primary art by A. Kazawa has been fully digitally recoloured. Secondary base art implementation and
design by myself.

Upon my rising this morning I discovered something that I was honestly never expecting. That this work here, TrueXS had
been selected as an Elite Gallery Item. I don't believe I've ever had the pleasure of having any of my former
art given such a privilege within this community, therefore, I'm completely and utterly stoked and would honestly
like to thank whoever it was that decided this piece should be selected for such a merit from the bottom of my heart. I

When I first released this piece, I genuinely thought it wouldn't so much as cause a ripple in this vast cyber community. And that was fine with me. I release wallart because I thoroughly enjoy doing it, and I've been designing for years on end. I don't expect anyone to like what I do, but if you happen to like it as much as I, then I'm more than grateful and always willing to hear from you and thank you for your support. That TrueXS has today reached Elite status is more than I could ever ask for. This is a milestone of recognition. May every piece I release from hereon out continue to put a smile on the faces of all those whom witness my gallery.

Post Script: 23/05/07 SMOKING KILLSYou won't look cool on a respirator and you've got **** all chance of getting a lung transplant. UV Studios is against smoking and doesn't necessarily agree with the primary art medium used within this work. Think twice before lighting up.

Another great wallpaper from you.
I was wondering: how do like NANA?! Have you ever watched or read it?!
If not, I totally advise you to do it. It's a great story. Ai Yazawa's manga are always very good. She always mentions subjects that put me into great reflexion. It's basicaly about people and relationship and it's not superficial at all!
I particulary like your wallpaper (and the imperfections you've mentioned are invisible to my eyes!), since I like the character it features and a antagonic scenario matches her personality well.
Awesome job! Another fav! :)

You could have replaced her cigarette with something else... or maybe it'd be too weird. XD
One of the few things I don't like about Osaki Nana is her smoking and stuff. Let's not talk about what I dislike in Hachi, that's a way too long story. XD
