sooo...... how could i put this....
next week -exactly- (i think.... yea it is...) will be May 5th.... and consequently it will have been a year that i've been with my boyfriend (wouhou! yay my life....................... ^_^')
since i've seen KatiPirklen's awsome cats,
i've been wanting to use them... somehow....
hehe well i finally found a way! XD
i basically put 2 of them together and made a background behind them, cozy nest like.... cat like :) (don't you juste love their lazyness? :D) i was actually surprised how easy it was to get the background idea (i usually have a rough time doing that part....)
now... little link with my oh-so-fabulous-life.... i like to picture him as the black cat, that cat has a seriously curious and damn intelligent look..... i know it's just a really simplistic picture but hey.... that's what i think... and i'd be the white one (well actually very light light beige...)
yea so what i'm sort of a romantic type with shining knights and princesses, but as long as i like myself like that i'm fine ^_^

Really awesome job with the cats. I really like the soft blur to their eyes for some reason, probably because they look like they could contain a soul (or some other pseudo nonsense like that lol). From your description I almost wish their tails were forming a cliched heart, but alas. I probably would like it better in its current form anyway. ;) The lighter outline of the lamp's base seems a little harsh (possible jagged lines is what I'm seeing) so you might want to smooth it out a little - diffuse some light down upon the lamp so it's got highlights instead of an outline. But overall the lamp is awesome - great work with the light beams! The background is very fitting and I Love the cats! Did I mention that I love the cats? ^_^ Thanks bunches for sharing! :D I think this is going to become my wallpaper after I "submit post" hehe. :)

First - I love this wall!
I was going to agree with elves about the lamp outline - but now I'm not so sure. It works really well with the stylized theme you've got going here. It's the lampshade above it that switches style and throws it off balance, I think. Perhaps if it had a lighter outline also? Hmm, I'm not sure so I'm probably not being very helpful...

The cat design is awesome!
The blurry eyes is kinda weird though and the white outlined lamp, maybe black would of been a better choice.
