Well here goes -
My first submission to Round 2 of the which waller competition, and up till then
the most ambitious wall I'd ever attempted - I'd never attempted to completely
re-cg a non-anime style scan before, aside from Yue in my last wall, who is
drawn with a relatively simple style, .

I've been in love with Akihiro Yamada's art ever since I first saw Juuni Kokki, and something about the girl in this scan has always appealed to me. I also used another of Akihiro's images as the base for that 'thing' in the background, which can be found here

EDIT Oops almost forgot - the pattern in the fan and the background was from some art paper I'd bought and scanned in.

Oh I really like this wall! Ever since I saw it in the contest I fell in love with it and it's on my desktop from the beginning of the contest. Lovely textures and colors, tho it's a bit different from the one I first saw

It's beautiful and elegant, feels like one of those old Shanghai/China paper paintings from the early 1930s. Looks and feel very classy, though her arms look a bit odd. Love this though.

nice vectoring ^^ I love the textures, esp in the fans. But you know what, I think I like the version you submitted for w?w better, with the less-washed-out background patterns.
