for paint o rama's urban contest...wich is kind of dying.
since the term of the city scape" was not defined, I went for a fruity one, but still as a city.
it was hard but it's done, and I hope everyone else dont give up on the contest

the aurora borealis, my fantasy, a sky filled with color while it shares the beauty that still remains in this earth, I wonder if I'll ever get to see one aurora, and if I do, I wonder if I'll be able to remain in silence.

I like the colors you used.
Great job painting the wall! And quite an interesting concept.
It would be really nice to find a city such as yours.

niiice
I hope we get more than 2 entries :[

if i had more time i would participate too..but dont think i couldnt beat that xD this gets much love from me <3

Lovely painting :3
The city is marvelous, i like the colors
Brilliant work!
Me gustaria decir algo pero debo ir a estudiar en vez de estar aqui =\

this is the rare wall that is better than the original artwork. :)
your best work since "Feels like Heaven to touch" Fuco Ueda wall- imo.

btw- i love that wall you made for which waller round 2. ;)
THIS SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED

"Argh you" is all I can say D:

Wow I love the style you used for the setting! Its beautiful and mysterious. Very nice work!

Very nice Alterlier... :)

I also read your tutorial. Agree with you on the clouds and perspective stuff... haha... was funny to read! So thanks for both... Love the colors. The clouds turned out really well, even though you hate making them.
I've got no time to make wallpapers. And in the evening when I have some free time I am too tired. So my energy is just enough to come here... looking what people are creating. Thanks for the beautiful wallpaper! :)

Haha, I like. The tutorial is awesome too. Always fun to read. Happiness of pink bubbliness.
Anyways... I should get working on mine. I want to see more than two entries too...

I agree with chloe :I

I've never been a fan of busy walls but I like this one - probably because the colours tie everything together so well. I am a big fan of the painted look, which you've pulled off really well. Nice work. ^_^

I love the colors! The background is sooo beautiful!

w00t for bright colours! XD though I'm not too fond of the colour of those bushes, kinda clashes with the warm colour scheme of everything else.

nice painty style. nice tutorial. and lol yeah I know what you mean about cloud tutorials. I've looked at millions and still can't do clouds D: ...

Wow what an awesome wallie!

What beautiful colours! This is a pure delight! Such a feast for the eyes, and sumptuous. Normally citiscapes are dull, decaying and cold. This is completely the opposite! Inviting, warm, soft & organic. It is genuinely a wonderful change and imaginative. Inspired!

can I just say I agree with what everyone else above me said? XD XD XD

yea, this deserves a highlight XD and it definitely gets a illumination at CL (dang alterlier, youre dominating the illumination section)

OMG, looking at the walkthrough I'm thinking you're insane having all this work. O.O
It's so... pro. XD
The skie's colors are indeed juicy, and also the best part of the wallie. o_O
Wish the smoke on the ground was pink-ish as well... >.<
Great job! O_O

Oooh, this is definitely very nicely done. Love the colors and amount of effort you put into making this wallpaper. Keep it up, it's awesome!

Ahah... i wouldn't call that a candy-city (it looks more like it's over-polluted with candy-coloring chemicals, but well... maybe they mixed in some of the candy-flavouring chemicals, so it might not be that bad). Your walkthrough is quite interesting (though i know nothing in the technical field ^_^').
One thing though, maybe the upper part of the girl's scan is standing out too much, it does not blend so well in the painting feeling like the rest does (i don't know, looks like you've "blurred" the lower part, which actually makes it very fitting... but maybe then the "mist" on the ground is indeed only the ground level).

Anyway, very good job, it reminds me a bit of 1900 england (like in steamboy) and a bit of blame! too... Thumbs up and fav :D

wai what a lovely wall! *glomps*
love the sketchy feel, and the painty but messy look is just perfect.

go highlight! highlight! XD
