this wallpaper is something original mine ^_^
first, i made the lines on illustrator
(motoko_lines) Danielly chan gave me some advices for this. i wanted made it vector, but later i painted it.
how is made this?
well, here exist 5 layers. the next building on the background; the far buildings; neon light; window and motoko. all painted a part, and later merged on one layer for give the details.
in the background i painted some next buildings, but the neon light cover them... lot of work for nothing ^^'
the way of paint is simple, round brush with low opacity and flow; smudge tool for fix some parts and lot of dodge tool with burn tool.

http://chisaikame.minitokyo.net/ help me with advices for the colors on the face of motoko, so thanks a lot to her ^__^ (she is an under seven, as me =^_^= )

It is amazing how something so small in resolution and so simple in making can be so enchanting really, the simplicity does drive home the idea to feel the maker's potential at digital painting.

Seductive! I love it. I wouldn't have been able to picture the character like this otherwise.

nice work, I like her pose (wow you're so good at drawing hands!). And I like the painting job on her skin (esp her right arm, with the city lights reflecting off it and all). and nice city lights ^^

One suggestion though, I find that the lines are a bit inconsistent, some lines are more smudged (like on the right arm) while others are more well-defined (the pillow, the left fingertip). I think you should go with one or the other (ie, smudge all of the lines, OR re-vector the outlines to make them clearer).

Also, I find her hair lacks the depth that her skin has, give it some highlights towards the left side as well. The pillow should have some shadows created by her as well.

anyway, nice work! and good luck on the contest ;)
