I say could possibly be my best wall with textures thus far in terms of anime (NOTHING CAN BEAT THE UNSPEAKABLE LUST WALLPAPER I MADE)

ok, onwards.
Well, the idea was spawned quite some time ago, it was not until lately that I
actually decided to finish up, there were a lot of disputes behind my head since
the original that I done (some six months ago), contained textures that didn't
quite made it to my completion of great works.
There was a lot going on, busy looking
wallpaper, simple version, many colors, but in the end, I say going back to sad
sad looking brown was the only way to go, and heck, why should we fight
nature?
Well then, the idea as you may well see, is to potray defeat.
I know for a fact, that you can't always win, you can hardly ever win, but for
some like Saber, who has won against the odds, (heck, she won against
Gilgamesh!) there are times when even the strongest must fall.
You can be there for awhile, number 1 and all
that jazz, soon you must realize that you are gonna fail, and when that
comes:
"The Higher They Go, The Harder They
Fall"
I think I managed to capture the emotion here.
There are actually several Versions yet again. Take notice in the NO Doused Flames editions as they are my favorite, I put the flame there and made them cause they were necessary at one point of the making to make the "Spoils of War" feeling more dramatic, aside from the rain that douses the flames of the burning castles and of trees that were burned by the firing of burning catapults, and then some... you know, the Kingdom of Heaven/Troy/Spartans/Alexander thing you see in Hollywood.

It's beautiful! I mean it's so depressing yet at the same time it can be hopeful in a way. I like the grudgy background. Though at the same time it almost looks like an ancient story. Definately was very moving when I saw this. Of course I'm going to fave this.

that is a great saber wall. I like the conservative nature that the brown gives to the image, and you captured the feeling very well. i especially appreciate your widescreen versions of the wall so I can use on my widescreen monitor. thank you again!

Hands down, the best Fate/Stay wallpaper out there. You sure as hell did capture the emotion there, and it can be greatly appreciated. This is a great theme, the whole "Heroes fall too" thing, perfect colors, I love Saber's expression that shows defeat, and the background.

Hehe . . . great theme, and I like the look of crinkled paper that you managed in the background. The rubbed charcoal shows up well, even in the creases of the page!
