jaja, maybe dont seems like that, but this girl is the same of this wallpaper.
she is called helena and is my itoko. (evil hug lum-sann ;) )
this was submitted before on the sandbox, and now have some changes (for better i guess ^^' )
the scan is a pain and i download it from a chinese forum.... so i dont know who is the artist. take a look.
i tried a lot of thing for left this better. i think the blurr effect seems good on it... like a dream.
photoshop cs2, like 4 hours and.. 10 layers

Awesome! You really gave a new life to that grayscale picture. I absolutely love the soft colors used, along with all the blur effects, seems dreamy. It does remind me of Lumm-san... because her mind always seems to be somewhere else even when she's supposed to be studying. :P Or maybe she's just thinking about what to write in her diary. Keep it up ^^

Ooo I think I like this one even more - perhaps cause in this one the character is looking much happier (even though it looks like she is studying hehe).
I love the perspective in this! And yes, I believe you have changed the design for the better - everything is so much more sharper and you can feel the depth to the picture.
Another favorite from me :D A very very fitting desktop indeed :D
