where angels don't sing is my third wallpaper in a row from the manga beck... (1, 2) and is a vector made on illustrator and colored on photoshop cs2.
the colors aren't so realistic (i used light, but not shadows ^^' ) but all was to make stand to koyuki and his guitar.
background and chara was vectored apart, but both images are from the manga (but the background dont look like vector, i know ^^')

mmm... beck rules!

    The concept of not adding shadows gives the sense of a dream being shown to the viewer. Shadows can mean a dark disturbance or intrusion. This makes it look peaceful and sererne. As though the character has no distractions. And yet the colors and tones, to me, look like it is night time with a warm glowing light near by. Thanks for sharing man.

    so sweet, love pastel colors. most of walls are bright ut Yours are always so calm. that's what I like the most.

    so something is finally up, I really have to say it, the character doesn't seem vectored, when it was downloading I thought the quality was gonna get better, but it didnt happended and it was like bleh....for some reason his outlines dont look like they were made in illustrator, maybe you saved with a very low quality, dont know....that's the only thing that bothers me cause I really like the setting.
    y sigo creyendo que debiste subir los otros walls.

    oh btw the whole bevel and emboss wich I really hate, looks pretty ugly on the bottom bro
