Yay, long time no submission here... (so, here goes another one
).
The scan is obtained here in MT, with the URL here.
First when I look at the scan, I got an impression of a painter, who keeps on drawing even during his illness. Somehow the image was striking me with its composition; so there came the idea of this wall.
The scan was formerly cropped at 2:3 aspect ratio, while I usually create
wallpapers at 4:3. This fact left me obliged to create the extension for the
scan -- so, I added few things and else (or, to be honest, everything beyond the
chara's matress
).
Apparently, that resulted in the entire room's landscape -- which, in my
opinion, has a bit of Japanese-styled atmosphere.
And, yep, as the title would suggest, the chara needs to be drawing something
here. With that said, I inserted a picture of his half-done canvas, which is
still being done as this wallpaper depicts
. I
personally like the red-yellow-and-brownish tone overall this wall, it gives me
an impression of warmth or something like that... (umm, I'm not really good at
describing it, either
)
Anyway, that's how it goes. Hope you like it.

adding this to my favorites, first of all...the background is great! it blends into the actual scan very well!
hahax..! this is really well done, love the colours used and the way you resented it! ^^
lol lately all the scans I've started to wall are being submitted as finished products :P Nice take on the original scan ^^
It is very beautiful.
Nice one... you almost get the impression he is painting the image he is in... the dragon eating it's own tail so to say. Favourite.
Really neat work, you blended the scan nicely into your wall (or vice versa ^_^). One thing though : there seems to be a foot at the top left corner, but isn't it supposed to be a sliding door ? (thus how could the foot pass under it ?)... well i'm not too sure though if it's a real foot, or one she is painting
.
Thumbs up
