This was made for which?waller's round 1, old school Clamp.
Yeah I think I made mine too obvious ^_^' (it's the second most recognizable wall >.< )... but I kinda decided to enter at the last minute and yeah...
Anyway saw this scan (was deleted off MT), and thought the style was pretty. So got out ArtRage and the marker tool (<33), repainted the scan, and created a (random) background. Then outlined it in PSP, and put everything together there (along with some touchups and stuff)
I will try not to procrastinate for the next round, and make a really evil one ;)
p.s. for the guessers, did you get it right?

Whoa! I would've not even guessed correctly. I really like the painting you did for this. It was wonderful and doing the hair strands look difficult. >_< I wanted to comment this earlier, but when I went to full view the wallpaper would've show. DX
I love the concept and the painting went very smooth here. I just love the simplicity of it so much. I fell in love with the wallpaper. >_< Definate fave! ;)
