This watercolor is an indulgence of mine--pretty much just a doodle. It took ten minutes to paint.
the poem is from a Shakespearean Sonnet:
when most I wink then do mine eye best see
for all the day they view things unrespected but in sleep
in dreams, they look on thee...
(I love Shakespeare!)

I definitely agree with the others-- her eyes are lovely and I like the length of her hair. The poem is okay, but I would have chosen a different font to type it in. But overall, nice work! Keep it up! :D

i like the textured border and the colors you used. however, i think your choice of typeface doesn't really suit the artwork, as it's too blocky. i think a handwriting like typeface would be nicer, but it's just what i think.

Yup, it's true that the poem font is awkward somehow, it doesn't really match the watercolor / soft tones you use.
Otherwise, well a lovely watercolor as usual. I'm a bit thrown off balance by the lack of nose, but otherwise it's great :D
