I saw this scan ages ago, but just knew if I wanted to do anything with it, there would have to be oodles of re-drawing and cleaning up with the image. But I finally got the motivation after re-watching some episodes of Ouran and remembering how enjoyable it was! The whole horse and carriage bit made me think of fairytales, so I made a musical "golden gate" mostly because it fit my the whimsical nature of the picture (and I wanted them to be going somewhere! XD).

Oh...a fantasy/fairytale wallie. *sigh* It's some of both, like most fairytales are. :) But reall, this is an awesome wallpaper. And wow...you managed to clean that all up? That's...good. :D

Every so often there's a wallpaper that catches your attention more than others and I must say this is one of them for me. The image definitely catches the essence of all the character in Ouran and your redrawing of it is excellent. The main image does appear slightly coarse however you have followed it over to the background adding to the wall as a whole.
Your plan of making the wall have the fairytale theme worked well, the carriage alone is enough to convey this however when I look at the musical gates my mind skips to the song "Mata Ashita!" from the second OST X-P If there was an image that needed to represent Ouran I feel this is it and I'm throwing a fav your way as well.
