First of all this is my submission for Vectory's contest. I had something else
planned but after my computer broke down... well it was back to the drawing
board for me. I decided to take a scan from Takeshi Obata. The difficulty in it
was that the colours seemed to so diffuse there was no telling were one starts
and when the other ends. I tihnk I pulled t off quite well. 
I absolute love Raito's expression and pose in this pic. I hope the title suits the work since it's the feeling I wanted to expose.

the background... and from the thumbnail, it looks like a scan 
one thing though, it looks a bit.. odd, that some parts have softer (almost airbrushed) shading, while other parts are crisp cell-shaded. Esp on his skin, I think it looks a bit out of place that it looks more painty and airbrushed while his hair is so sharp... You can try using gradients, but still keep the edges/contours between the colours/shapes sharp and vectored-like.

Excellent detail and the colors look great, though like Maple said, it looks a bit strange in some places because of the contrast of vector and "airbrushed" shading. Other than that, great job!

I thought the artwork of death note is impossible to vector but you make that exception. Really great vector!
