Just a simple wallpaper. I saw this interesting photo
when browsing Stock Exchange for unrelated stocks, and liked the striking color combination, and the strong diagonal
lines in the image. I wanted to make a monochromatic wall with the purple and yellow the image had, and figured that
something from Ai Yazawa would be bold enough to go with the scheme. I found the scan of Yukari already sitting down a good match, although I
had to alter the positioning of her legs so she sat on the stairs better. Instead of shading, I used the patterns from
the original scan for the few areas of different colors.
Since the scan is from the "Lonely in Gorgeous" disc, and she does look lonely yet all dolled up on those
stairs, the title stuck. And if you don't like the text, it'll only take you a minute to remove it in Paint.
Oh, and the butterfly is stolen from my Yuuko wall.
Widescreen is wiiiiide! For people who don't like wide, more resolutions are here -- so stop yer whinin' fer crissakes!

Great use of color and the vectoring is neatly done as usual. Great job!

for some reason, and I know that it was the main purpose, the colors are kind of disturbing to me, but that's due the fact I usually tend to follow warmer tones, however I talk from the design, the vector is pure clean and the way you managed to place yukari at you favor is remarkable.

this work is really profesional.. but sorry I don't like this color match... :/
I will love it when it will have another colors, concept is really nice, but.. now... colors are awefull for me, not my taste. I could use it as wallie for my desktop but with another coloring, except this... this work is really beauty -
Very bold colours and great concept design. Plus, as usually, flawlessly executed.

It's VERY Yazawa-san way to mach colors ^^, She use it all the time at Parakiss and I really love how you saw the original photo and had a *click* to remember her style and make a recognizable wall.
I dare to say it's an iconistic job, you traduce perfectlly the meaning of 'Lonely in Gorgeus'. Thank you so much for that!
+fav, of course ^^
