Oh my God! I was also planning to make a wallie with that pic, I love Dogs scans but I can't do anything better than this, it's gorgeous. I love the colors and the bg is great, really nice wallie dear, as always ;)

I found this scan of Dogs& I really liked
it so I decided to make a wall out of it :)
first of all I vectored the scan & it took about 2 days :D & I will submit it later :)
then I used a stock image,brushes & texture :)
well hope its looking good XD

I'm sorry to say that you've let yourself down here. You've created a wonderfully clean & strong vector that captured the essence of the scan, but then failed to follow that up with a suitable background. I hate seeing adapted photographic backgrounds, as they don't compliment the scan. It doesn't blend in at all, and the colours grate against those that you've chosen for the vector. Sorry, but one half of this is a fantastic piece of work, but the other half is an anti-climatic finish.

I only partly agree with Saikusa... I think that you just needed to either repaint the background yourself or alter it to look more painted rather than a real life photo (which is what's causing the clashing). Sadly the background looks stretched out in full view, too :( It's a wonderful composition and the placement is nice, it just needs a little more work to make it blend. Aside from that I love the wall, and of course the vector is awesome ^_^

The vector is really great but I also have to agree with the other members on the background. But I have problems with backgrounds, too. ;)
