Noooooooo :_: Widescreen :_:, hehe. I only cry because I don't use widescreen ;). As for what you did..I love it. Seriously, I absolutely love it. Tsukihime is one of my all time favorite animes and this is a gorgeous shot. Considering what you had to work with, you really outdid yourself here, Maple. Everything just looks absolutely perfect and the vectoring is top knotch. Seriously, I dare anyone to find anything wrong with this flawless piece of artwork. A favorite for me. \o Keep up the great work :).
Artist Comment
I was watching Tsukihime when I saw this screencap of episode 8, and I like the lighting and colours and all, and thought the perspective was neat. I wanted it on my desktop, and I had some time this week. So here it is.
Vectored, with some overlaying textures, all done in PSP8.
Yay for widescreen!
[Edit] Made the outlines thinner.
[Edit 2] Alright here's the 1600x1200 version for all you non-widescreen users. :)

lol, Cy .. I say YAY, widescreen. Cos I use it. XD
I like the perspective you used, I always like the body shots without face kinda things.
And, like in the movies, cameras love shadows. Great job with the shadows, and the fine texture is a nice touch. -

looking good an all. Only thing would be the... err I forgot her name... well HER vectored outlines should be worked on more to give detail and look less like crappy screenshot vectored outlines XD

I'm not sure what SHE meant.
Okay, the vector is completely clean and nice. I think maybe SHE meant the girl's outline sort of thick. XD Hmm, great use texture. I actually love it! :Dmerged: 02-23-2007 ~ 09:31pm
Oh..if I am the admin of Vectory, I would highlight this though. -_-; -

Widescreen...T_T I can't use it but it's pretty to look at. :D I want to all that stuff that everyone already said...so I won't say it again. T_T But everything is so nice here with the image. I would love that in a non-widescreen edition too...

Yay for thinner outlines, and yay for non-widescreen version. I wonder why your last 3 wallpapers use lots of lighting effects. :o

Yay! Another vector and the outlines are very smooth here. ^_^ I'm glad that you changed it to be more thinner. :D I like the perspective in here. the window shadows is good here and it looks quite real in my opinion. It seems so simple yet how you make is complicated than it might've been. I'm glad you added a light texture in here. It gives it a feeling of it being less plain.
I gotta fave this one. Your best work yet so far. I was hoping there would be one that's non-widescreen version. I just don't have a wide screen computer. >_< Though the wallpaper does looks better if it was in a size of a wide screen. XD
