It is possible to scan the image in 2 pieces and line the two scans up as much as possible and submit it that way...
But to be honest the quality of this image is so good that you wouldn't notice any severe cropping because of the page/scanner size.

There is unavoidable cropping on this image sadly. The book was wider and longer than my scanner... So I focused on the
girls. Unfortunately, the blond one has part of her hand cropped off. Still I like the overall image effect.
