I have submitted my previous work for the contest but Im not really fond with that work and then I asked the admin and she gave me permission to remove "Secert Garden" for the contest and replace it with this (Thank you).
So this will be my submission for Group Vectory's "Beyond The Boundaries" contest.
I found this scan around 1 week ago, and the first time I saw it I started to vector it. The hardest thing are the hairs and the plants on the bottom side. It's kind of complicated. Maybe you kind of noticed that I didnt vector the whole thing, I leave the balcony and also the Lamp on the right side part, well I tried it before but the output is kinda bad so I removed it.
I used gradient, soft brush and a blur tools for coloring. For the sky I used cloud brush.

This vector is absolutely amazing. There are no dark or hard lines that you usually get with vectors, and the colours are pretty much perfect. One of the highest quality vectors I've seen in a while, you did a fantastic job XD Just beautiful!

Soft colours, I noticed kinda lots of jagged lines. Vectoring a scan that has many details like this might affect the jagginess of your lines, if not done properly. I don't know if smudging and brushing are the best technique in vectoring, coz it will destroy the importance of pen tool XD.

Lots? I maybe only see about 4 ... and that's when I really really looked and squinted, it's called pixels man! you can't have a totally smooth lines everywhere.
Anyway to the submitter: Fantastic work! I love this .. the artist is great to start with, you put a lot of work into this, keep it up!

Whoa! O_O I agree that this is better than the "Secret Garden" vector you submiited. It's truly beautiful. I like the bright colors here and some texture added for the wall. The outlines are just smoothly well done and extremely effort I saw in this. After seeing the difference from the scan and this one I can see that it was going ot be painful if you did vector the whole thing. This definately has my fave. ;)
Forgot to menton that this is the first submittion vector for the contest "Breaking the Boundaries" that isn't Tsubasa or XXXHolic. XD
