This wonderful Scan was taken from a site. HAH! AND I WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK IT! HAHAHAH! So, anyway I had no idea that this wallpaper would turn out this way. That is because I was originally going to use a scan of a cat-girl holding a sword. It would have looked like she was jumping on the ledge but, I didn't like the way she was painted in certain areas, so I changed the scan. The rocks were done by painting a texture made with a brush I created. It's too bad that brush wasn't saved. I could have used it again. Well, the details of that texture was done with a smaller brush to make it look like it has cracks and levels. I'm not very good at making clouds so, they turned out bad I think. Well, I'll have to improve in that area as well as others too. I could tell you a secret about how to create waves in the water but, that would make this description very long. Actually, I'll try it anyway.

Use at least TWO different colors. *(make sure to have used a soft edge brush so the colors blend)*A lighter color and a darker color... or more if you would like it to look fancy shmancy. Paint in wide strokes across and make them thin from top to bottom. Like a very thin football. When you have the colors all layed out, go to "Filters> Blur> Motion Blur>", make the angle at which direction fits the perspective. I used 180 degrees flat right/left. Then adjust the size of the blur so that the colors blend well. That should give you somewhat of a wavy water feel. You can try to add certain filters or paint your own highlights to make it look more real. And to make it look like it fades into the distance you could adjust the perspective. I used two layers for the water. One for the darker shades underneath a layer of highlights. Then when I got them right, I merged them together.

Well, yeah. Everything was done manually accept for the scan itself. I worked 3 days on this particular wallpaper. I even lost many hours of sleep. It had over 30 layers and was about 30mb total file size.

Hope you enjoy.

I must say, it is done professionally, therefore, it really does deserve favouring....so therefore....it does very well deserve being in my favorites list... :)
hrmm...i will just point out one thing....well....in my opinion, there is one thing in the wallie that is imperfect, and that is teh grass on the left, it is smudged and blurred, so, the green effects seem more like a painting on the left side than grass, other than that, great work done!
oh the couples....they really are so cute afterall, nice choice of scan, and it is very well extracted, very good work done.
the colors match very well, all the effects are rather amazingly done!
    once again, great work done!

omg, this looks painted, kyyyaahh, i'm right! the colours and everything is just wonderful, kyyaaahh, so romantic, the emotions from the wallie, just wow! hmmm..unknown, hmm...is this random art? the scenery and all just beautiful, it really brings out the scan, everything is just so well done, i love the sunset at the back, but as toya-chan has said the grass at the side, i think it needs more texture, it would look much better, lighting and all nicely done, where did you get the scan, it's just so lovely! all your works are job, so fab and wonderful, good job done, thanks so much for sharing the wonderful wallie, effort was worth while, hope to see more of your work!^^ +faves.

The clouds look okay, don't worry! The only thing I'm not sure on is the grass, it's kind of flat and all-one-color compared to the awesome rocks and water. Overall very good.

I am not a "Master of Love" but you have caught the true Essence of Love. Unfortuantely our politicians and our military leaders don't know or care for real love. Thank U for the share :)

This is such a cute wall you got here. I like the way the ocean looks and the birds in the background as well. I especially like the way the clouds were done. But the true essence, that of love was well captured. Overall a very nice wall. Keep up the work
