Please note: I think I made Lacus's eyes evil in this picture...I don't know how it came like that. =_=
*cough*, Well, let me tell you a descriptive yet brief story: PHOTOSHOP FROZE ON ME AND I COULDN'T SAVE THE VECTOR! *cough* So what you see here is the second version, and surprisingly, it looks better than the one I lost to evil. So I wasted six hours on the vector, ended up being lost to Photoshop conspiracies and then I completed the second vector in less than four hours non-stop. No breaks (just bathroom breaks and gotta-get-outta-the-chair breaks).
The problem with the scan I used was it was too..well, when I used the eyedropper tool, 3 times out of 5 it wouldn't be the color I wanted for the hair, skin, kimono, etc. So getting the color right was quite a challenge.
And also, I made the vector big because the bigger the vector, the smoother the lines would be. I discovered this with my Haruhi vector. And big...is good. >3
Thanks to aey21 for his/her lacus in summer scan. Such a pretty scan.

i think you changed the outlines of her hair clip, didn't ya? 'cuz i saw at your outlinepic on your userpage and there were a few things that bothered me but now it looks good^^

definitely beautiful, like you said, her eyes look evil; they make her appear dubious in nature almost, a different look for Lacus i've not seen before, and i like it!

Wow! That sounds challenging. The color challenge. I'm curerntly having the problem right now with the the vector I'm doing. It's really a pain in the butt. DX
Evil photoshop. I'm glad you thought that the second one you made was better than the first. :) Definately have to fave your recent vector. :) Seriuosly keep on vectoring. I was quite surprised that you vector non-stop and the fact that you took less time unlike me. :D

Wonderful vector! *Faves* Ack, I hate when Photoshop freezes! I spent seven hours vectoring once and then boom! It totally sucked -_-. But I'm glad you redid it anyways! It really lo9oks great!

I truly admire what all of you vector artists go through making these pieces of art... That pen tool if horrible... (*curses the pentool*) Anyways, I really like the scan of Lacus that you used and how smooth it turned out ^_^ It's relaly nice that you added your own personal touches to the background too instead of simply retracing the image entirely. Great job!
