my valentine's day present to my friends ^^
well don't know why i decided to make this dark doujinshi but...
weel the steps i made to draw this peace XD
first: drew the glass doll normaly ^^; it took me 30 minuts to do so
then...
second: passed the glass doll to a vegetal paper and broke it it took me 30 minuts or so too
then...
third: drew the clapsed hands on the final paper and made it's final lines with my ink pen; it took me 20 minutes
or so ^^
then...
fourth: passed the boken glass doll to the final paper
then...
fifith: shaded the clapsed hands and coloured the doll with my colour pencils and my magic color pens; then colored the
bg with my brand new permanent black marker;then made the heart silhouette and the glass on the buton
well that's it XD
i really hope you'll like it ^^

But the darkness is very befitting to the doujin...
I like the concept of a broken doll...
The details is read well and design apropriaately...
My only problem is that i think you should have used a darker purplish blue then the blue you used to shade with

Ah, sorry I didn't get a chance to comment on this one earlier. ^_^' Lovely job on the broken doll as well as the transparent hands. (I've recently become addicted to a new anime called Ghost Hunt, and your piece would really fit in well with that series... ^_^') The only thing that I can see, which is more of a personal preference is that the heart is a little too long/narrow for my taste. I know you were probably restricted by the size of the paper, but it seems like the heart in the background should be a little fuller on the sides and the indentation on the top should go down a little further.
But it's still a lovely, DARK Valentine's Day piece! (It would have gone well with my unintentional S.A.D ritual... I wore black and gray and watched Ghost Hunt on Valentine's Day... Scared myself silly!) Keep up the great work! :D
