When we think about Valentine Day and how it must goes between Sakura and Syaoran, I guess the usual is to imagine
something romantic and super mushy...With this drawing I wanted to show another aspect : each one on a different country
and being able to communicate only through mail or telephone in a month (february) where the weather is still cold...
Anyway! Please note they are NOT back to back : it's more like Sakura's shoulder is on Syaoran's back
^^;; Why? Because I wanted to :P So you can see Sakura in Japan holding in her arms a closed box with chocolate and
Syaoran got them and you can see the open box in his hand : they didn't get each one a chocolate, sorry, only
Syaoran :)

You have no idea how much I love this take on Valentine's day... too many people emphasize the way people are together, when there are so many that can't spend it with their loved one. Then again, that's one holiday that I really don't care for.. eh, oh well.
I like the way you placed them, almost back-to-back, with the same scarf wrapped around their necks. Even though they're so far away from each other, I thought that was a cool little touch to put in there. The other main thing I noticed was Syaoran's earring... my first thought was that it almost looks too pretty to be a guy's earring ^^;
So sorry for the incredibly late comment... I've fallen pretty far behind on my MT stuff with all that I've had goign on the past few months. I actually did see this one back in Feb, but didn't have the time to comment on it then, so I kept the notice so I could do it later, which turns out to be now. ^^;

Hey Cute Sherry! Nice picture! Except...the scarf kinda looks like it's strangling the two of them...^_^;;; Oh, and nice earing on Syaoran. BTW, I saw that your doujinshis got delete because people say it looked like it was traced.
Well, that's complete bull. I haven't seen all of them, but if the styles were anything like these, then I say bring it on to Minitokyo because you have your own style mixed into the CLAMP style!

I love how you draw their expressions because they look very real and detailed. But one thing is I cant tell the story of it with the first glance and it's very misleading if people do not read your explanations. As TsubasaHolic said it looks like the 2 of them are strangling with the scarf. Other than that it's really nice =D
