This really is a stunning piece of work shinshinovi! The character design by itself is very interesting. I like his shirt most of all! Nice job on the coloring and additionally picking colors that complement each other. You also did a nice job on the shading on your character. I think you could probably tone down the brightness of the cross just a tad so that we can see the more intricate details on it. Also, the glare on the top left corner-- I'm not sure if it's due to that or what, but the purple half of his hair looks a little grainy to me. But all in all an excellent submission! Thank you for sharing it with us. Hope to see more from you in the future! :D

The reason why it's grainy is because I used a ball-point-pen to create a classic-like effect. If I did not colored that part of the hair, I think it looks cooler, however, Adobe Photoshop 7 can't recognize the orginal color I used before editing it. And yes, it's actually a conventional artwork, I merely enhanced it using some good ol` touches. :)
About the cross, I'll fix it AFTER I get money to buy myself a PC equipped with CS3. XD

I believe what tricks you is the coat. Commonly, coats have shoulder pads, and that coat is no exception. :)

Updated: Using some ol` touches and applying some tips peeps gave me, I managed to reduce most of the grains of the artwork. I also managed to smoothen it's color flats, creating a much more in-depth. However, the size of the artwork also increased to 800x1000.:D

Complicated looking outfit. I like it, looks like you had a vision and followed it through, giving it as much detail as you could. At first I thought he resembled Chrono (Chrno Crusade) but in the larger picture, he doesn't. Looks like quite the character with an attitude and I'd be interested in the story behind him!

That's his 'proposed' final form, since it's still a sampler. The story starts at Age 12 (Earth Years), so, expected him to evolve. All I can say is that I'll use that proposed design only ONCE.
I've stopped posting works since January since my right arm's not working well, but maybe this week, I'll deploy an official work. :)Thanks for the comment ^o^
