I had a cold day earlier this week, and with all the free time, I got to make another wall! I was fooling around with illustrator and photoshop, when I created a very interesting shape, which I ended up repeating into an X. I really liked the bold colors that I had picked, but I had trouble finding a scan that suited the background. I found this star ocean image on my comp. so I forgot exactly were I got it. Anyways, I picked it mainly because of the colors of the characters and their pose. I know that the scan isn't the best thing to go with a crisp vector background, but I still like it. And I believe that vectoring the scan, will cause it to lose some of the nice brush style.
