I need to make like a vector shop or something around here. Another vector. Another vector. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Whatever the case, I'd like to keep my "Vector Demon" status as long as possible (thanks again saikusa =3), and that's shooting out vector art every week or so. And besides, I'm bored in this freezing house and all I do besides playing my Nintendo DS is vector, vector, and more vector. XD
So this week we have Kira, skimming the gallery as usual upon which I've discovered this scan. And since Valentine's Day is approaching, an idea hatched in my head: "Let me kill two birds with one stone; I'll submit this to minitokyo for the holiday and give it to my boyfriend as a V-Day presentou". Exciting! Anybody heard of Aoshi101? He's inactive now, so if you glance at his profile heading, you'll know why. XD
Now, the difficulty. Not hard. Except for the blasted candy bucket. Endless creasing shadings on the bucket made me cringe, zooming in on the vector until about 700%. Total torture. *sobs* The easiest part were the eyes. The eyes are so cute...=3
Again, the backdrop is random. Well, not too random; I planned on doing something...random. When I was done creating the background, it ended up liking my taste. So I went with it, despite its randomness (gosh darn, I said it again!).

Vey lovely! The outlines are perfectly smooth and once again entered the elite gallery. :) I'm so glad that you finished this very quickly. I must agree, the background taste is very good and attractive to be even seen in a thumbail at a gallery. I thought it was mostly simplistic yet effective! It would've been hilarious if Kira had some chocolate smudge near his mouth. XD Definiately adding this as favs and Happy Valentine's Day. :)
