For Paint-O-Rama's Let There Be Light contest.

I went through a lot of ideas for this, most of them involving Shadow of the Colossus. XD But either they were too hard for me to keep organized enough to do a tutorial on, or uninspired and boring.

I ended up settling with Faron, one of the Light Spirits in Twilight Princess, and to make it really simple, since I figured everyone else was going to do something scenic.
I actually didn't want to paint it because it seemed too obvious. :pacman:

And here's a tutorial for the technique I used to make the light rays:

You did a pretty nice job cleaning up that screen shot! I kinda wish that the edges of the god were more blurred. Even though the wallpaper is simple, it is pleasant to look at. I also wish that there were some kind of title, but oh well. Thanks for sharing it with us though!

This is amazing. Personally, I love the Legend of Zelda series, and there have not been many good wallpapers from the Twilight Princess. Keep working with it, this was great! I would love to see more.

Yay entry!

nice painting, I like the contrast of dark and light :D

thanks for the tutorial too :) It looks easier than I first thought ^^ though how did you do the reflection bit? (bits of smudging I'm guessing?)
