Man, this reminds you how important kitsunes (foxes) are in Japanese folklore, especially ones with many tails. Think of this one, Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog and the pokemon Ninetails and you then realise it. Even the Wolf-God in Princess Mononoke had more than one tails.
