Artist Comment
Okay, I'm supposed to be studying for midterms and preparing for interviews right now... but started vectoring and can't stop >.<
Anyway, this vector was done for the contest at Anime Vector Artist's Club on deviantART. The challenge was to vector any anime character using black, white, and one other colour. I love using limited palettes, so searched around and decided to use this scan of Mireille Bouquet. Before you ask, yes I know Mireille has blue-green eyes, but I'm only allowed to use one colour. Besides, I think it looks cool like this :)
So yeah, decided to go ahead and wall it. I kinda wanted to have a bullet flying out or something, but couldn't find a good stock to vector from, and it turned out weird anyway, so took it out. Also, kinda wanted to put text on there, but took it out 'cause it looks unneccessary.
As always, I played around with textures and stuff and came up with a whole different versions that I ended up liking ^_^' and I can't decide... But I put up this version because it has that "Noir-ish" feel to it I think.

[Edit]: After using it on my own desktop, decided to change the background to black because the textured bg looks weird. But I did include a bit of texturing on Mirielle still.

Hmm, strong contract :) Your vectors are always flawless, though this hurts alittle bit the eyes when you look at it for too long. Though, still ~It's lovely <3.
