Artist Comment
I did this drawing in my sketch book last semester for an assignment. We were told to draw a dream, so I though this one would be pretty neat. I had this nightmare when I was about five years old, and I still remember the basics of it. My family and I were walking down the streets and we walked into a bank like building. My mother was sitting in a chair that was against the wall, then all of a sudden I turned and told everyone else to get out of the building because I knew that something bad was going to happen. I look back at my mother and her face turned into a un-fired dirt/clay color, then cracked, then crumbled from the top down. This drawing is of that moment. I am sorry that it is so light, you can definately see it better if it is downloaded. I plan to do a lot of work with it, but that may have to wait till summer like everything else that I want to do. . .Anyways, I hope that you guys like it!
