Yesterday I watched the first episode of Nodame Cantabile and it looks like it
will be a good if not great series. So I went ahead and made a wallpaper^^
I used this
scan and some screenshots as reference for the vector. I came up with the
idea for the background when I was nearly finished with the vector -- that's a
good thing, I guess, because most of the time I must really think about the
background, before I come up with an idea.
If you're wondering, the sheet music on the ground is: Sonata No. 8
"Pathetique" (2nd Movement: Adagio cantabile) by Beethoven.
Nodame is playing this piece in the episode that's why I chose it.

Let me start by saying that I like your vectors very much.
But then, only I would think that. I think that the background is rather
perfect and the idea is great! Very nice wallie. 
Going onto the wallpaper...somehow, the window's light makes me think of reading under a blanket with a flashlight.

This reminds me of your sky-window wall from a while back with the
sort of surreal concept, but I think this is a testament to how far your skills
have developed since then ^^ Love the soft colors, sketchy vectoring, and
concept <3!
