ahh...wonderland. this story is actually a favourite of mine (so much so that I too am compelled draw it [gothic or non-gothic]).

I wonder what it is that fires the Japanese interest with the Lewis Carol story? It certainly inspired Tujiki Nao enough to draw it at least three times...

Lovely lovely work! I love the expression of the girl at the top and the castles are just great. I love the amoun of details and the fact that is so carefully drawn, so soft and delicate but strong at the same time, it's a beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing!

This is my second favorite of the Green Glass Alice versions. The checkerboard patterns, castles clothes and details are crazily well done.

My goodness, I must say - I love this story combined with the gothic style of this certain image. :) For some reason I always find chequered or chess-stlye floors and patterns appealing. ^_^' Thans for sharing!

The costume design of the girl in the crown and the castle are definitely based on Russian costumes and architecture in the 11th, 12th centuries... very interesting.
