waiiii~! it's a quote from the ps2 game ICO! 
ico is
probably the prettiest, sweetest, most enjoyable game i have ever played, so i
was rather enthusiastic for this fanart.. xD this was entirely made in oC 4.06
plus (no scanned drawing). you can see the various stages that took place during
conceptualization by dling the event file here. (it is viewable even with
oC's trial version
as well.. xD ) also, i forgot to re adjust my monitor again, so i have to modify
the levels in photoshop as i save this image in jpg. 
.. the
lineart becomes more nasty, though. 
.. my
least favorite here is the stone slabs obviously, they were the last to draw,
and i was pretty much tired already. ..
(excuses! lol) 
for those who hasn't played the game, the black couch is where the
gamer is able to save his progress, and the two would fall asleep there. cuuute!
<3333 oh and the sword only becomes available the second half of the game
(you begin with a silly old stick!

Were There rocks too, i recommend checking it out. so yea- i hope you like
it as much as i had fun drawing this.

Love the way you did the couch... i can't imagine someone placing a couch in the center of a room with that kinda flooring...
Well anyways, I love the way you drew the characters... real classic.
Seems like you got tired trying to draw them from the waist down... their lower bodies are not as detailed as their upper bodies' are. But yeah, you've rolled out another great piece here... and its already 3:15 am... nagpupuyat ka nanaman.
What exactly are they doing? Watching TV with what seems to be a sword-like remote control? hhahaha... xenxa na... antok na kasi ako...

hehe, i 've always wanted to play ico, but can't seem to find it anywhere. anyway, have you played the game's prequel? it's shadow of the colossus!
back to the artwork, i can see that you really work hard for this. but i could see that the lighting on the characters is a bit off, as there are parts that are supposed to be dark that you've missed out. anyway, i could say it's a job well done.
Chisaikame-san, the concpet of your Doujinshi of Icon is very good. I did download openCanvas4.06E PLUS and your Event file, but while I was watching the event, my computer stop functioning after 10% of the event file (my computer is old
). So I only watch up to the part where you were sketching the sofa, I was
looking forward to see how you coloring you color this illustration in.
The final lineart does look less sketchy compare to when you first started drawing the picture, but some of the lines could have been cleaned up a little bit more (you are improving
).
The clothes and sofa could have more shading like you did with the floor. I
realize that you did mention that you had to adjust the image on the PS and
maybe some shadings weren't noticeale and you try to use the PS to add some
details and the lines that you couldn't see before became more noticable. Sounds
like you went through a lot. 
Keep it
up. You are getting better at it.

Y'know, this is really pretty. Kinda...uh, light for the Ico atmosphere I got used to, and I remember Yorda being a little bigger than Ico...but, hey, I'm not complaining. ^^
It's been ages since I played this game, and I still haven't finished it...doesn't Ico carry a club?
