Shortcoming? You're obvously crazy and too severe on yourown work! The line along the jaw seems strangely dark & severe compared to the heavenly light radiance from the rest of the image. Stunning. Not only the colouring, but the imagination & pose. Fantastic!

Definitely stunning ! The shading and coloring are really enhanced by the sudden explosion of light from the blade, and the whole 'white' theme for the clothes / hair / hand bandages is awesome.
One thing though : is it really easy to handle a sword with a cubic handle ? (that would make the grip harder and hurt one's hands no ?).
Her face reminds me of a fairy somehow, with those big eyes and almost pointy ears => the storm fairy maybe, and not one you'd like on your bad side either

Are there short comings? yeah... but it's overall incredibly beautiful! Even though the hair is so blank at first, there's so much detail even in just the white, the clouds and coloring are absolutely fantastic!

If I may nitpick... the eyebrows seem a bit too high; they give her a rather blank, shocked, expression (maybe that's what you were going for) and the neck at that angle doesn't seem to really attach to the head. Don't forget that it also attaches to the back! And is the sword supposed to be transparent? If so, it looks cool. If not, just pointing it out.

But other than that, incredible work!
