Wooosh! A new wallpaper! -dances- Well, I started this wallpaper this morning or actually... 2 weeks ago. I started extracting this image. It took me FOREVER to extract because... well... Lets just say that I don't have a lot of privacy! -_-. I finally finished extracting this image last night and started working on it. This morning at about 6:30am I still was playing around with the photoshop.

I darkened Julia cuz well... It's Julia! XD This wallpaper is supposed to be grudgy like this... I put a lot of textures in this... A LOT! @_@ NO BRUSHES! ^^ I'm going to start watching Cowboy Bebop ((I saw the final episodes a couple of months ago)) And now I have to watch all of it again! ((Why am I typing so much!?!?!))

nice....

The effect you were going for isn't bad. The thing that really would really make this wall better is if you had extracted the scan better. Try cutting out the lines and colors that do not belong to the character's clothes and body. It would blend real nicely with the background if the orange and yellow highlights weren't there. Perhaps you can work on blending the characters with the background more. I'm sure you'll improve. I was a very terrible waller when I first started. But, with constant practice I improved. If you would like some help or tips feel free to ask.

impressive ^^
