THIS IS THE UPDATED VERSION. I TOOK OUT THE POEM BECAUSE I KNOW HOW ANNOYING IT IS TO HAVE WORDS IN A WALLPAPER YOU
LIKE. sometimes the words just upset the emotion of the viewer and causes an over all disliking of the wallpaper.

Well, this wall was definately fun to make. The scan is one of shirow masamune's from the Togihime Zoushi collection. I got it from a torrent so, there's really no telling who the credit actually belongs to. Anyway, I designed the tree from scratch. The stream was a simple gradient with two identical multi effect layers over the top of it to give it the illusion of water flowing upstream. The snow was quite simple. I just painted the edges of the snow with a wet edged brush at different opacities for depth and heighth. It's supposed to appear as if the snow on the ground is hanging over the side of the stream. This is actually representing the first big snow fall of the season. The grass is still alive and healthy. There's no scenery beyond the snow because it is a cliff and I couldn't really accept any idea I had for anything beyond that point. And the snow... is illuminated by the woman's halo. (A halo isn't just around the head. It can be around the entire body.) The colored specs of glowing light are just that. It's not actually snow. They just serve as a fantasy effect. I might have over done it though. Oh well.
This wall is supposed to depict how she is touched by something as simple, but as thoughtful, as someone leaving her a sign that they are still with her.
